Having had issues with another opticians I took my grandad to greenfield eye care. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My grandad said his examination was very thorough, he was treated with dignity and respect, everything was explained so he could understand as he suffers with dementia he gets easily confused it was also written down. My grandad has mobility issues and it was accessible with disabled parking right outside. Overall a great well run opticians would highly recommend

Couldn’t recommend greenfield eyecare enough. Great service, fast delivery for glasses to arrive and they can’t do enough for you, making sure everything is perfect with comfort before leaving!

Recently visited Greenfield Eyecare again with my son for his eye test, James and Claire were absolutely brilliant with him while he chose his colourful new glasses and nothing was too much trouble. They really do go above and beyond to make sure you're 100% happy with your choice and give any recommendations along the way.

Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else as you know you're in good hands!

Quality service and dead approachable and helpful

The arm of my glasses & the nose cushion both fell off yesterday. Just visited Greenfield Eye care & both fixed on the spot. Very pleasant experience. I know I need the full works of eye test & glasses & their help today just won them a customer. Sincerely appreciated.

I’ve had a fantastic experience at Greenfield Eyecare, and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From the moment you walk in, the shop feels lovely, comfortable, and welcoming. It really put me at ease.

What stood out most was the advice on eyewear. Genuinely felt like they were focused on helping me find the right frames rather than just pushing sales talk, which is so refreshing, and far different to opticians at national branches. The guidance was thoughtful, honest, and really helpful.

James and Claire are both wonderful and incredibly welcoming, understanding, and clearly passionate about their local community. It’s obvious they care about the people who come through their doors.

I also had a pair of glasses where the frame broke after about three months (through no fault of the product). They replaced them completely free of charge and turned it around almost instantly, which was amazing service.

They really go out of their way to help and provide sound advice. A brilliant local business that I’m very happy to support.

I had an eye test at Greenfield Eyecare last week and picked up my new glasses today - honestly the best experience I’ve had at an opticians. The eye test was incredibly thorough and everything was explained clearly, especially the OCT scan which I’d never had before.

James and Claire took the time to talk through my prescription and helped me choose the right varifocal lenses rather than just pushing the most expensive option like some big chain opticians do. I’ve been wearing my new glasses today and the difference in my vision is amazing.

The practice itself is lovely as well - really modern, relaxed and easy to park right outside which is rare around Saddleworth. The whole team are friendly and you never feel rushed.

While I was there I also found out they offer ear wax removal, so I’ve actually booked in to have that done next week as well. It’s great having these services locally rather than needing to go somewhere else.

If you’re looking for a proper independent optician in the Saddleworth / Oldham area I can’t recommend Greenfield Eyecare enough. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
